The twins
Lingering reflections of my deepest fears appear upon her face,
The painful weight of past which longs to be carried with me each morning.
Judith
She flew so high atop the air bound objects,
Supporting her weighted feet as she inched closer to the moon.
Wait
Standing in wait
Feathered and soft
We fear the creatures on the edge of that side
Those called our reflections
Terrifying in stature and in spirit
We stand in wait,
Waiting for the image to clear
The three of us
Allied on wheels at the start of spring
A nervous foot stepping outside of the door in search of cherry blossoms after a cruel cold winter
We see them blooming and smiling our way as we cycle across the lake
With our sweat drenched peddling feet
We smile in longing of tomorrow and tomorrow
